We are pleased to announce that we have transferred all the stocks of Platia Co., Ltd. (Head office: Osaka, Osaka; Representative Director: Koichi Ishino), owned by the fund under our management (J-STAR No.2 Investment Limited Partnership), to NICHIIGAKKAN Co., Ltd. (Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Nobusuke Mori). The share transfer is scheduled to be completed on March 31, 2022.
Since its establishment in 2003, under the slogan of “Total Care Service,” Platia has been providing nursing care services centered on its expertise in dementia care, aiming to realize “providing a place where the elderly can live with dreams and hopes and with a smile”. During the investment period, Katsura Care Service, Luminous Corporation, and Aki Corporation were added to Platia Group. Currently, they operate 20 group home facilities, 3 private residential homes (both assisted living and residential), 2 home-visit nursing care facilities, 1 daycare center, and 2 in-home care facilities in Osaka, Tokyo, Kanagawa, Chiba, Yamanashi, and Gifu prefectures.
With this stock transfer, Platia Group will join the NICHII Group network, which provides nursing care services at approximately 1,800 locations nationwide. We believe that under the NICHII Group, Platia Group will be able to achieve further growth by contributing to total nursing care services and comprehensive care rooted in the community.
