We are pleased to announce that the fund (*1) to which our company provides investment-related services has completed the sale of all shares of Sunsmile Inc. (Head Office: Minato Ward, Tokyo; Representative Director: Tokuya Tanaka, hereinafter “Sunsmile”) to AnyMind Japan Co., Ltd. which is 100% subsidiary of AnyMind Group Inc. (Head Office: Minato Ward, Tokyo; Representative Director: Kosuke Sogo, hereinafter “Anymind”).
Sunsmile has been engaged in the wholesale distribution of overseas cosmetics and lifestyle goods, and also in the planning and sales of its own original products, primarily under the brands “RISM” and “MASCODE.” Leveraging its accumulated know-how, Sun Smile has consistently identified emerging product trends among young female consumers and delivered well-conceived products and initiatives that succeed in the market.
AnyMind operates under the mission “Make It Exciting for Everyone to Do Business” and is a technology company with operations across 15 countries and regions, mainly in Asia. It possesses strong capabilities in SNS- and AI-driven marketing, EC operation expertise, and global expansion.
Through the execution of this transaction, we believe that combining Sun Smile’s long-cultivated strengths with AnyMind’s digital marketing, technology, and overseas network will enable Sun Smile to achieve even greater growth and development going forward.
