Capital Participation in GeoMedi Co., Ltd.

We are pleased to announce that the funds (hereinafter “Funds”), to which we provide investment-related services (1) completed the capital participation in GeoMedi Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture; President & CEO: Seong Il Kim; URL: http://geomedi.co.jp/, hereinafter “GeoMedi”).

GeoMedi imports medical devices, dental materials, and other dental-related products associated with the digitalization of the dental prosthetics manufacturing process from domestic and international manufacturers. These products are then sold directly or through domestic wholesalers and dealers to dental laboratories and dental clinics across Japan. Since its founding, the company has contributed to the advancement of the domestic dental industry by offering a wide range of high-performance yet cost-effective overseas products.

In the dental industry, the recent revision of medical service fees has expanded the scope of insurance coverage, promoting the adoption of advanced technologies, including digital intraoral scanners. As a result, we anticipate that demand for GeoMedi will continue to grow.

Recognizing the ongoing changes in the dental industry, the Funds have also invested in Dental Holdings Co., Ltd. (hereinafter “Dental HD”), a holding company dedicated to supporting businesses corporations and medical institutions through capital and business partnerships. We will also strive to create synergies through business collaboration with GeoMedi.

With this capital participation as a catalyst, we will support GeoMedi Inc. in expanding its product lineup, enhancing its sales network, strengthening its management structure, and creating synergies with Dental HD. Together with the current management team, we aim to drive further growth.
