(Headquarters: Uwajima city, Ehime Prefecture, President: Makoto Tamaru, URL: https://www.dainichi-ff.co.jp/, the “Dainichi”) that J-STAR No.4-A, LP, etc. (*1), to which we provide investment-related services invested, completed the investment to Marusei Suisan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Numazu city, Shizuoka Prefecture, President: Yukimasa Mano, URL: https://www.maruseisuisan.com/, the “Marusei Suisan”).
Marusei Suisan has 50 years history in the aquafarming industry and they’re one of the largest aquafarmer in Numazu region with the cultivation capacity of around 900 thousands of red seabream and other types of fish. With the investment from Dainichi, Marusei Suisan will realize the transformation of the business to “Sixth industries” by the further growth driven by Dainichi’s management and governance resources and business network. The investment also contributes strengthening the value chain of Dainichi by their aquafarm capability increase.
J-STAR will continue to support the business growth of Dainichi by realizing synergetic effect through the investment.
