We are pleased to report that Dainichi Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Uwajima city, Ehime Prefecture, President: Makoto Tamaru, URL: https://www.dainichi-ff.co.jp/, the “Dainichi”), to which we provide investment-related services (*1) completed the joint-investment with A-Marine Kindai Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shirahama cho, Nishimuro gun, Wakayama Prefecture, President: Hiroyasu Tsuji, URL: https://www.a-marine.co.jp/, the “A-Marine Kindai”) to SHOKU EN Food Tech Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shingu city, Ehime Prefecture, President: Makoto Tamaru, the “SHOKU EN Food Tech”), the newly established subsidiary of SHOKU EN Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shingu city, Ehime Prefecture, President: Masahiko Ariji, URL: https://shokuen-global.com/, the “SHOKU EN”). Dainichi also has entered into the business alliance with A-Marine Kindai and SHOKU EN.
SHOKU EN Food Tech started the operation on June 1st 2023, and they operate the function of sales and manufacturing as the subsidiary of SHOKU EN. By the joint-investment to the new subsidiary and the business alliance, SHOKU EN will be able to utilize the capability of developing aquaculture seedlings of A-Marine Kindai and the sales force and network of Dainichi, in addition to their own business resources. We expect that the alliance will accelerate the market development of Burihira, improves the production and processing business of brand fish products such as Acerola Sea Bream and Acerola Yellowtail, and enables to develop overseas market.
J-STAR will continue to support the business growth of Dainichi by realizing synergetic effect through the joint-investment and business alliance.
